PRINCETON- Wilma Jones, 70 of Princeton went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, November 21, 2019. Born February 4, 1949 at Sophia she was the daughter of the late Edward Cook and Beulah Meadows Cook. Wilma attended The Bridge Church in Princeton and also an independent Bible study group. She enjoyed reading, worship music and talking about God. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends and the act of giving to others. She was a teacher, mentor, friend, confidant, spiritual role model, encourager and influenced the lives of many. It is impossible to put into words the impact of her life on friends, family, and the world, which is far reaching and limitless. Wilma was an assistant accountant for Alleghany Wood Products in Princeton for twenty years. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, John Jones, Jr. and one brother Daniel Cook. Wilma is survived by four children, Christopher Jones and wife Kelley of Bluefield, David Jones of Princeton, Benjamin Jones and fiancé Lilac Fitzko of Princeton and Rebecca Jennings and husband Joshua of Bluefield; one grandson, Layne Jones of Bluefield; one brother, Anthony Smith and wife Becky of Bluefield, VA; one sister Donnita Pollack of Princeton. A graveside service will be conducted at 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton with Pastor Eddie Day officiating Friends may visit with the family from 10:30-11:30 a.m. at the funeral home.
