ROCK – Ray Reed, 76, of Rock, died Thursday, January 13, 2022. Born November 18, 1945 in Itmann, he was the son of the late Eligh Reed and Ollie Workman Reed. Ray formerly worked at Itmann coal mines for 10 years and was a former employee of Asplundh Tree Service and served as president of the local union. He was the founder Wagon Wheel ATV Resort and Crazy Rays Broken Spoke in Pinnacle Creek. He was currently a school bus driver for Wyoming County schools for 20 years. He enjoyed the outdoors with his donkeys and tractors. He was known and loved by many. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings. Survivors include his loving wife of 58 years, Norma Ramsay Reed; nine children, Kathie Reed, Stephen Reed, Pamela Lester, Allen Reed, Tina Reed, Rebecca Reed, Casey Reed, Madison Reed and Logan Reed; eight grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
