PRINCETON – Franklin Delano Kessinger, 83, of Princeton, died Monday, October 26, 2020 at his home. Born July 22, 1937 in Princeton he was the son of the late Hobart Kessinger and Susie Grubb Kessinger. Mr. Kessinger was a member of First Christian Church in Princeton. He was a veteran of the U. S. Navy, an employee of The Army & Navy Store in Princeton and retired from Princeton Machinery Services. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Carol Kessinger; sisters, Grace Pearl Dorsey and Lottie Myrtle Canfield; and brothers, Edward Kessinger and Howard James Kessinger. Survivors include his nieces, Elizabeth Foltz, Susan Maze, Darlene Lawrence and several other nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 2, 2020 at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton with Rev. Steven Janning officiating. Military honors will be conducted by the Mercer County Veterans Honor Guard. There will be no services at the funeral home. Friends attending the service are asked to meet at the funeral home by 10:45 a.m. Arrangements by Bailey-Kirk Funeral Home in Princeton.
