PENSACOLA, FL - Eva Mae Bailey Wiley, 74, previously of Quail Valley, Princeton, died Friday, October 9, 2020 in her home following a long battle with Parkinson’s Disease and dementia. Born June 22, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Orla Bailey and Nannie Billings Bailey. Mrs. Wiley was a retired school bus driver for Mercer County. Eva was a loving sister, mother, grandmother and friend. Eva was an active member of Matoaka Baptist Church for many years. She loved visiting with friends and family and helping care for any little ones who might be around. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her former husband, Franklin Wiley; her son Franklin Delano Wiley, Jr.; and her brother-in-law, Mason Wiley. Survivors include two daughters Banita Wiley and fiancé, Tim Bragg of Princeton and Amy Smith and her husband Mike of Pensacola, FL; two sisters, Connie Wiley of Princeton and Donna Houseman of Richmond, VA; one brother Johnny and wife Sandy of Rock; two grandchildren, Michael Isaac Tyler Smith of Beaufort, SC and Evie Carolyn Smith of Harrisonburg, VA; as well as many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 16, 2020 at the Bailey-Kirk Funeral Home in Princeton with the Rev. Mike Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton. Pallbearers will be friends and family. The family will receive friends Thursday, October 15, 2020 from 6-8 p.m. at the Bailey-Kirk Funeral Home in Princeton. Online condolences may be shared with the family at www.bailey-kirk.com.
