Edna Adkins

July 3, 1934 - April 10, 2022

LAKE CITY, MI - Edna Joyce Adkins, 87, of Lake City, MI, formerly from Princeton, went home to spend eternity with Jesus on Sunday, April 10, 2022. Born July 3,1934 in Caretta, she was the daughter of the late Oscar Head and Malinda Sprouse Head. Mrs. Adkins was a loving, devoted, compassionate wife, mother and grandmother. The love she had for her entire family was beyond measure. In addition to her parents, she was preceded into Heaven by her husband, best friend, and the love of her life, Roscoe Adkins; brother, Robert Head; two sisters, Catherine Johnson and Bonnie Dalton; and two great grandchildren, Mackenzie K. Littleton and Brad Lee Clifford. Survivors include two daughters, Dixie Smith and her husband Daryl and Cheryl Adkins Peffers and her husband Oscar; five grandchildren, Sarah Hall, Heather Hutchins, Natalie Hall, Stephanie Holt and Dustin Mowrey; ten great grandchildren, Nikolas Miller, Ayden and Riley Hall, Cory, Sean and Caleb Clifford, Joshua and Tyler Hall, Xzara Miller and Zachary Holt; and six siblings, June Lewis, Kenneth Head, Ruby Moran, Lula Mae Dobbins, Lorraine Crouse and Linda Collis. Honoring her wishes, there will be no funeral service. Private burial will be at Resthaven Memorial Park in Princeton.
