DUBLIN, VA - Donald R. Whitt, 88, of Dublin, VA, died Tuesday, April 12, 2022 at Highland Ridge Rehabilitation in Dublin, VA. Born January 2, 1934 at Itmann, he was the son of the late John M. Whitt and Minnie C. Rutherford Whitt. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Anna Mae Whitt; brothers, Roy M. Whitt and William H. Whitt; and two sisters, Virginia Agnes Whitt Midkiff and Clara B. Whitt Stovall Burton. Survivors include several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Monday, April 18, 2022 at Maple Hill Cemetery in Bluefield, Virginia with the Rev. Justin White officiating. The family will receive friends Monday, April 18, 2022 from noon until 1:00 p.m. at the Bailey-Kirk Funeral Home in Princeton. Online condolences be shared with the family at www.bailey-kirk.com.
