MATOAKA - Bridgett Catron, 63. of Matoaka, passed away Saturday, November 16, 2019 at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown after a long illness. Born July 10, 1956 in Princeton she was the daughter of the late James Robert “JR” Montgomery, Jr. and Eileen Fry Montgomery. Bridgett was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She was a housekeeper and caretaker. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her former husband, Larry Catron. Survivors include her brother, Larry Montgomery and wife Darla of Matoaka; nieces, Alesha Settles and husband Maurice of Princeton and Michelle Proffitt and husband Terry of Bluefield and several great nieces, great nephews and extended family. The body has been cremated and there will be no services. Arrangements by Bailey-Kirk Funeral Home in Princeton.
