Warren Richardson

PRINCETON – Warren G. "Cheater" Richardson, 63, of Princeton, died Friday, April 13, 2012 at Princeton Community Hospital on his way for dialysis. He was a dialysis patient for over four years. Born January 23, 1949 at Bluefield, he was the son of the late Warren G. Richardson and Nell Pauline Griffith Richardson. Mr. Richardson had lived in Princeton for the past 42 years and was a former employee of the Mercer County Board of Education. He retired from Consolidation Coal Company at Bishop and Amonata. He was a member of the UMWA. He was a member of Princeton Masonic Lodge #134 AF & AM, Beni Kedem Shrine in Charleston, Bluefield Shrine Club, Scottish Rite, Bluefield Moose Lodge #1079 and AARP. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, George W. Griffith and Minnie Litchford Griffith and Randall Dewitt Richardson and Lena Smith Richardson. Survivors include one sister, Lani Rae Sublett and her husband Wayne of Hurricane; very special friend of 40 years, Alice Pauline Martin of Princeton; very, very special doberman friend, Christmas Joy; nieces, Lori Sublett of Hurricane, Tara Womack and her husband Lonnie of Hurricane and Melanie Proton and her husband Victor of Glasgow, MT; nephews, Robert Jowayne Sublett of Abbs Valley, VA and Warren G. Sublett of Hurricane; and several cousins. A graveside service will be conducted at 12:00 p.m. Monday, April 16, 2012 at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton with Pastors David Cooper, Dennis Robertson and William Davis officiating. Friends attending the graveside service are asked to meet at the Bailey-Kirk Funeral Home by 11:45 a.m. Members of Princeton Masonic Lodge #134 AF & AM will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Chris Smith, Wayne Robinette, Ashton Harris, John Farley, Verlin Moye, James Earl Shields, Roy Edmunds, Shawn Wagner, Homer Williby, Marty Shrewsbury, Darrell Cook, David Cook, Doug Cook, Derek Swope, Dr. Richard Pence, Mark Wills, Greg Prudich, Dr. Abdul Piracha and Dr. Nabeel Ghabra.
