Pauline Pierce

PRINCETON – On the beautiful morning of July 12, 2012, surrounded by her children, the Lord called Pauline Pierce to her heavenly home. Born August 5, 1930 to the late Pete and Stella Siner, she was nearing her 82nd birthday. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by one sister, Linda Ayers and one grandson, Jerry Lee Lovell. She was born and raised in Matoaka where she met and married her 4th grade sweetheart, the late Dewey D. Pierce. Pauline and Dewey shared sixty precious years in marriage. They raised six children together in Matoaka and Princeton: James "Jimmy" Pierce, Elaine Fuda , Timmy Pierce, Debbie Stables and husband, Jackie, Terri Williams and husband, Mori, all of Princeton, Wanda Stafford and husband, Larry of Sherrills Ford, NC; one brother Jerry Siner and wife, Kaye of Princeton; eleven grandchildren, Tina Ruth and husband, Gary, James Pierce and wife, Brenda, Amanda Mann and husband, Nick, Lindsey Friedrich and husband, Russ, Tracey Sisk and husband, Josh, Angie Stafford, Lonnie Pierce, Kandi Sigmon and husband, Keith, Kris Fortner and fiance, Stacey, Landon Williams and Lauren Williams; 13 great grandchildren, Alec Ruth, Cody Mac Pierce, Dillon Pierce, Mason Pierce, Kassie Sigmon, Kole Sigmon, Keelie Fortner, Kaelyn Fortner, Jerry Lee Lovell, Jr., Robbie Lovell, Lee Lovell, Jason Lovell and Lindsey Lovell; nieces and nephews, Kelly Siner, Jodi Conner, Casey Collier and husband, Eric, Tammy Pendergrass and husband, Pozdol, Graesen Conner, Channing Conner, London Collier, Jennifer Hooper and husband, Chris, Bradler Hooper, Christopher Hooper, Mason Hooper and Jonathan Grisby; special cousins, Mary Lou Sheets, Shelley Street and Irene Moore; special friends, Marvin and Pam Rickman and special caregivers, Idena Mitchell and Katie Baker-Belton. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, July 15, 2012 at the Rowland H. Bailey Funeral Chapel of the Bailey-Kirk Funeral Home in Princeton with Pastor Erma Jean Hudgins and Rev. Larry Dyer officiating. Entombment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum in Princeton. Pallbearers will be Kris Fortner, Josh Sisk, Gary Ruth, Joe Conner, James Pierce and Keith Sigmon. Honorary pallbearer will be Bernard Reece.
