Michelle Billings

GLENWOOD - Tina Michelle Williams Billings, known to her family as Michelle, to her friends as “Chell,” to her sons as “mom” and to her nephew as “tar,” of Glenwood, formerly of Matoaka and Iaeger, passed away at her residence. Born July 30, 1964 in Welch, she was the daughter of Roy Allen Williams Sr. and Gracie Mae Holloway Williams of Glenwood. She was loved by all from the moment she was born. She was the oldest of five siblings. Michelle graduated from Matoaka High School and attended National Business College. Following high school, she worked in a variety of fields but found her home in transportation, as a flag car driver, for most of her life. She was a devoted member of Davy First Church of God in Davy, WV and an avid visitor of Tudors Biscuit World. Michelle leaves behind a lifetime of memories, laughs and now tears. She was preceded in death by her grandparents; and one baby sister, Theresa. In addition to her parents, survivors include her sons, Brandon Billings and Shane Billings both of Glenwood; two brothers, Roy Williams Jr. and wife Julie (Lusk) of Mechanicsburg, PA and Richard Williams and husband Doug Dinnell of Elk Grove, CA; sister, Melissa Rosengren and husband Josh of Daniels; as well as many aunts, uncles, nephews. nieces, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, cousins, friends and fur babies. Michelle is survived by the loves of her life, other than her boys, by three nephews and one niece, Allen Williams, Jack Williams and Olivia Williams all of PA and Asher Williams. Anyone who knew her knew her love for her children and her family was her favorite subject. Michelle never met a stranger so she left behind a multitude of lives that she impacted. She was rarely seen without at least one of her fur babies and later in life those babies became her children. A memorial service will be Thursday, September 14, 2023 at 7:00 p.m. at Bailey-Kirk Funeral Home with Marsha Feasel officiating. Friends may visit from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Davy First Church of God in Davy WV.
