Michael Bell

LASHMEET - Michael Ivan Bell, 60, of Lashmeet, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday morning May 3, 2023. Born November 21, 1962 in Princeton, he was the son of Phyllis Marie Bell of Lashmeet and the late Jackie Ivan Bell. Mike loved hunting and fishing; it has been his passion for several years. He loved to share the memories and photos of his many hunting and fishing trips. He was a mentor to many who enjoyed the outdoor sport and they will continue to carry on the legacy in his memory. Mike was also known for having a green thumb and loved to plant flowers and grow a garden. He always took good care of his home and his family. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his oldest daughter, Kayla Marie (Bell) Graham; his grandparents Alfred "Pluto" Davis and Helen Davis; and a best friend, Bobby Lee Shrewsbury. He loved nothing more than to be at home accompanied by his loving fiancé of 20 years, Sharon Marcia Smith who will miss him dearly; a son, Bobby Ray of Lashmeet and his girlfriend Tiffany Tignor of Princeton who spent many evenings in their company. Michael also leaves behind a daughter Kelly Michelle (Corey Boyd) Mills, of Millersburg, Ohio; a step son Charles Daniel Cole of Princeton; one brother, Gregory William (Joyleta) Bell; and two sisters, Cynthia Charlene (David) Taylor and Kerri Lee (Michael) Hurt. Michael had many nephews and nieces who all held a special place in his heart as well as lots of friends and extended family members. He loved all his grand babies, Michelle Dawn Graham of Dover, Ohio, Michael Warren Bell Jr. of Princeton, Vacie Marie and Veda Martina Barbour both of Hanover and Jeffery Manderville and Kortni Renae Mills both of Millersburg, Ohio. He will be loved and missed by family and friends who may attend a memorial service at 5:00 p.m. Friday, June 2, 2023 at The Princeton Praise & Worship Center, 501 Thorn Street, Princeton, WV 24740 with Pastor Johnny Wayne Gray, Jr. officiating.
