PRINCETON – Billy Graham, 82, of Princeton, died Saturday, October 16, 2010 at Beckley VA Medical Center. Born April 20, 1928 at Arista, he was the son of the late Luke Graham and Ora Graham. Mr. Graham served in the U.S. Navy in the Korean War and retired from Penn Plastics in Washington, PA. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Agnew and Irene Bray. Left to cherish his memories include his loving wife June Steelman Graham; a step-daughter, Diana Kirk and her husband David of Princeton; step-grandsons, Sean Kirk of Greensboro, NC and Christopher Kirk and his wife Kerrie of Kernersville, NC; a sister, Alma Smith and her husband Jim of Princeton; nieces, Brenda Atwood and Patty Gillespie and her husband Ken all of Princeton; nephews, Bernard Atwood and his wife Ann of Roanoke, VA and Freddie Bray and his wife Carolyn of Rock; numerous great nieces and great nephews; and caregivers, Anna Cole of Princeton and Helen Burnette of Beckley. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, October 21, 2010 at the Rowland H. Bailey Funeral Chapel of the Bailey-Kirk Funeral Home in Princeton with the Rev. Christopher Atwood officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton. Due to Billy’s love for children, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Jude Children Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942.
