CAMP CREEK – Thomas Earl Hedrick, 54, of Camp Creek, died Monday, October 11, 2010 at his home. Born March 17, 1956 at Princeton, he was the son of the late Earl L. Hedrick and Pearl L. Nesbit Hedrick. Mr. Hedrick was a 1974 graduate of Spanishburg High School. He worked as a district manager for Pilot Oil Company. He attended Camp Creek Community Church and was of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed playing golf, race car driving and collecting ships. Survivors include his wife of 11 years, Darlene “Dee” Hedrick of the home; one daughter, Lyndsey Jones of Colonial Heights, VA; two sons, Jonathan Hedrick and his wife Valisa of Blacksburg, VA and Bryce Hedrick of Hermitage, TN; one granddaughter, Kendall Carroll of Colonial Heights, VA; one brother, Keith Hedrick and his wife Debra of Camp Creek; four sisters, Mary Lou Sarver and her husband George of Princeton, Rose Lynn Juba and her husband Michael of Camp Creek, Pamela Tuggle and her husband Larry of Rocky Gap, VA and Paula Workman and her husband Bruce of Bucyrus, OH; and several nieces, nephews and cousins, whom he loved very much. Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 13, 2010 at the Rowland H. Bailey Funeral Chapel of the Bailey-Kirk Funeral Home in Princeton with Pastor Jay P. Mays officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton. Serving as pallbearers will be Leland Hedrick, Keith Hedrick, Craig Sarver, David Tuggle, Dennis Meadows, Dwight Miller, Timothy Hartwell and Caleb Workman. Memorial contributions may be made to the Cancer Treatment Centers of America, 2520 Elisha Ave., Zion, IL 60099. Friends may call Tuesday, October 12, 2010 from 6-8 p.m. at the Bailey-Kirk Funeral Home in Princeton. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.bailey-kirk.com.
