ROCK - Bryan M. McKinney, 63, of Rock, went home to be with our Lord on Monday, September 19, 2011. Born January 8, 1948 at Beeson, he was the son of the late Lonnie and Eva Hylton McKinney.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister Hessie McKinney; and a brother-in-law, Willard Linkous.
Survivors include is his wife and best friend of 43 years, Debbie Walker McKinney of Rock; his pride and joy, son, Bryan Keith McKinney and his wife Bobbe LeAnn Manning McKinney of Princeton; three loves of his life, grandchildren, Kaleigh, Madalynn and Tyler and Bryan was anxiously awaiting the arrival of his fourth grandchild, a girl, due in October; a brother, Patrick McKinney and wife Kim of Beeson; a half brother, Bruce Cole and wife Carlotta of Speedway; two very special sisters, Hazel McKinney Tijerina and her husband Nick of Sorrento, FL and Jeweldine McKinney Linkous of Kegley; a dear friend who was like a brother, James Akers and his wife Helen of Lashmeet and dear friends Bill and Shirley Campbell of Myrtle Beach, SC; and an abundance of nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Friday, September 23, 2011 at the Rowland H. Bailey Funeral Chapel of the Bailey-Kirk Funeral Home in Princeton with the Reverend Mike Whisman and Evangelist Dale Vance officiating. Interment will follow at
Serving as pallbearers will be James Akers, Patrick McKinney, Bruce Cole, Victor Fletcher, Norman Fletcher and Leroy Walker.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association National Headquarters,
